Cantium Singers

Cantium Singers are a community choir, based in Rochester, Medway. We have been going for 27 years under the directorship of Simon Tatnall. Simon retired in 2023, passing the baton on to Wendy Foad. The choir began in 1996 under the auspices of Kent Music School. Originally called the Great Lines Choir, it started with just 3 people and Simon at the piano. When the music centre moved, the choir became an independent community choir with a new name - the Cantium Singers. Over the 27 years it has grown and now has approximately 30 members supported by our fantastic pianist Peter Bailey.
